We kept the parts that matter and threw out the parts that make borrowing feel awful.

Most people finish the form in about five minutes. If a lender approves your request, funds may arrive as soon as the next business day.
Rough patch, clean slate, somewhere in between — lenders here weigh more than a credit score. Approval is never guaranteed, but asking costs nothing.
No paperwork marathons, no hold music — just three simple moves between here and an answer.
Pick an amount and answer a few gentle questions. That's genuinely most of it.
If a lender wants to work with you, you'll see their full terms before anything else happens.
Say yes when it feels right. From there, many lenders can send funds as soon as the next business day.
Funeral costs rarely come with a warning. Funeral home services, burial or cremation, a headstone, flowers and travel for family all arrive at once, and many providers expect payment before or soon after the service. All Funeral Financing is a free online service that connects people who need to cover these costs with lenders who may be able to help. You fill out one request, and we pass it to a network of independent lenders instead of making you apply to each of them yourself. All Funeral Financing is not a lender or a funeral home and does not make credit decisions: the lender you are matched with reviews your request and sets the terms.
Funds from a personal loan are generally paid to you, so you can settle the funeral home and other providers directly. Check your loan agreement for any limits on how the money may be used.
Ask the funeral home for its itemized General Price List: under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral providers must give you one, and you pay only for the goods and services you choose. Check whether there is a life insurance policy, a pre-need funeral plan or veterans' burial benefits, and whether the Social Security lump-sum death payment applies to your family. A loan works best for the gap that remains.
Rates, fees, APR, late-payment rules and renewal options are set by each lender and depend on the laws of your state. They are spelled out in your loan agreement, so read it carefully before you sign. Late or missed payments can lead to extra fees, lower your credit score and result in collection activity. Our Rates & Fees page explains what to look for.
A rough credit history does not rule you out on its own. Some lenders in the network weigh your income and steady employment alongside your credit history. Lenders may start with a soft check, and some check your credit with Experian, Equifax or TransUnion, or with alternative providers, before finalizing an offer. No one can guarantee approval: each lender decides on its own terms.
Many lenders can send funds as soon as the next business day after you accept an offer, although transfer times vary by lender and by your bank. Short-term loans are meant for immediate needs rather than as a long-term financial solution, and the service is not available in all states. Straight answers, in plain language.
Not us directly — we're a free matching service. Your request goes out to independent lenders in our network, and whichever lender you match with makes the actual offer and decision.
Some lenders start with a soft check that leaves no mark at all. Others may run a fuller check before finalizing an offer — either way, they'll tell you clearly before anything is final.
Plenty of lenders in the network can send funds as soon as the next business day once you accept. Your bank's own timing plays a part too.
It doesn't rule you out. The network includes lenders who weigh income and steady employment alongside credit history. No one can promise approval — each lender decides on its own terms — but a rough history alone doesn't end the conversation.
It costs nothing to see what's out there, and no one's holding you to anything.
